TherapyFuel now offers more personalization options to help your AI-generated clinical notes better match your unique style and approach.
With the new TherapyFuel Settings tab on your Staff Profile page, you can customize preferences like tone, formality, note length, language, and more with the Clinical Voice Settings. This ensures your notes reflect your personal style, professional preferences, and therapeutic approach; making documentation faster and more tailored to you.

Clinical Voice Settings
Click Profile > TherapyFuel tab
Adjust the following options to have TherapyFuel generate notes that feel authentic to you:
(A) How I Refer to Patients: Select how you want the patient to be referred to (e.g., "the patient", "the client", first name, initials).
(B) How I Refer to Myself: Choose how you would like TherapyFuel to refer to yourself in notes (e.g., "I", "the therapist", "the clinician").
(C) Note Length: Set your preference for concise notes that capture key points efficiently or verbose notes that provide detailed narratives.
(D) Formality Level: Determine how formal or conversational the language should be to match your documentation standards or practice environment.
(E) Note Tone: Choose the overall tone you prefer in your notes, such as neutral, conversational or scholarly.
(F) Homework Assignment Frequency: Indicate how often you want TherapyFuel to suggest or document homework assignments in your notes — ranging from “Never assign” to “Sometimes” to “Always assign.”
(G) Language Type:
- Problem-Focused: Emphasizes symptoms, challenges, and clinical issues.
- Strengths-Based: Highlights client abilities, progress, and positive attributes.
These settings are designed to give you greater control over your TherapyFuel documentation, making notes more aligned with your clinical voice and workflow. You can update these preferences at any time to adapt to different clinical contexts, client needs, or personal style evolution.
