You can continue using TherapyNotes while your telehealth session is in progress. This means you can write notes, review or update medications, and enter information such as vital signs without ending the video call.
There are a few different ways to keep your telehealth session available while you document. Choose the option that feels easiest for you.
Use Split Screen
Split screen lets you keep your telehealth session visible while working elsewhere in TherapyNotes.
- Start or join the telehealth session.
- Open another browser window and sign in to TherapyNotes.
- Open the patient's chart or documentation.
- Resize the windows so the telehealth session is on one side of your screen and the patient's documentation is on the other.
- Document as needed while continuing the session.
If you use multiple monitors, you can also keep the telehealth session on one monitor and documentation on another.
Open TherapyNotes in a New Tab
While the telehealth session remains active, you can also open another TherapyNotes tab for documentation. A tab is another page that opens at the top of your internet browser.
- Start or join the telehealth session.
- Open a new browser tab and sign in to TherapyNotes.
- Navigate to the patient's chart or appointment.
- Open the documentation you need and switch between tabs as necessary.
Use Picture-in-Picture
Picture-in-picture allows the telehealth video to remain visible in a small floating window while you work in other areas of TherapyNotes.
When picture-in-picture is available, you can move or resize the floating video window and continue documenting while still being able to see your patient.
Picture-in-picture availability and behavior depend on the browser you're using. If the feature isn't available in your browser, use split screen or a separate browser tab instead.
