Display Preferences

Configuring your Display Preferences allows you to choose the look of your TherapyNotes experience when you log into your account.

Navigation Preferences

TherapyNotes currently supports two navigation style options - Left Sidebar and Top (Classic).

Note: The Top (Classic) navigation style will be removed as an option in the future. We recommend using Left Sidebar.

Changing Navigation Preferences

To change your navigation style, navigate to Settings > Display Preferences > Navigation.

You can toggle between the two navigation styles of the Left Sidebar or Top (Classic). Click Save to save your preferences.

 

Understanding Left Sidebar Navigation

Desktop/Tablet Experience

Sidebar navigation displays the pages within TherapyNotes listed in a top-down format, displayed on the left side of the screen. You can use the expand/collapse button to change the amount of space the navigation takes up within your browser window.

 

Mobile Experience

On a mobile device, select the three lines at the top right of your screen to open your navigation options. To close, click the X icon.

 

Understanding Top (Classic) Navigation

Desktop/Tablet Experience

Top (Classic) navigation displays the pages within TherapyNotes listed across the top of your screen. Access additional menu options by clicking the User Dropdown.

Mobile Experience

On a mobile device, select the three lines at the top left of your screen to open your navigation options. To close, click outside the menu or on the three lines again.
