- Ensure your device has adequate security configured, like a passcode or biometric login to unlock. Never save your TherapyNotes password on the device to avoid unrestricted access in the event your device is lost or stolen.
- Some screens, like the calendar or billing reports, may best be viewed in landscape mode by rotating your device. Tables displaying large amounts of information in reports may require horizontal scrolling.

How to Install the TherapyNotes Web App
You can launch TherapyNotes directly from an icon on your home screen or app menu. Once installed, TherapyNotes will open in a standalone browser window with all of the functionality you’re used to, providing an optimized user experience regardless of your screen size.
On Apple Devices
- Navigate to the website through Safari and login.
- Tap the Share Icon, then choose “Add to Home Screen” from the menu.
- Tap “Add.”
- A new TherapyNotes app icon will be added to your device. Simply tap the icon to open TherapyNotes.
For Android Devices
- Navigate to the website through the integrated web browser (for example, Google Chrome) and login.
- You may be automatically prompted to install TherapyNotes on login. If not, tap the menu icon (3 dots in the upper right-hand corner), and tap “Add to Home Screen.”
- Click “Install” when prompted.
- A new TherapyNotes app icon will be added to your device. Simply tap the icon to open TherapyNotes.
