Multiple Practice Locations


The address under User Icon > Settings > "Practice Information" serves as the default practice location in TherapyNotes.  To add additional locations, do the following:


Click the User Icon. 


From the User Icon Options select “Settings”. 

Under “Scheduling” click “Multiple Practice Locations”.  Click the blue “+Add Location” button.  Fill out the location name, practice name, address, practice NPI, place-of-service code, and taxonomy code.  Click the green “Save Changes” button. 

To delete a practice location, navigate to the “Multiple Practice Locations” screen.  Click the gray “X” in the upper right of the location box.  Click the green “Save Changes” button in the bottom left. 


Note: When scheduling an appointment make sure to select the correct practice location from the “Location” drop down box.

    It would be extremely helpful if you would list the place of service in the billing information. As it is now, the only way that I can see the POS billed is if I click on to review the claim just before I submit it electronically or if I print out the paper claim. Without me having access to see the POS, it can very easily be billed incorrectly if the schedulers don't click on the drop down box and change it when they are scheduling the appointment. Is this a feature that could be added in?

    Hi Jennifer,

    You can click PATIENTS > Patient Name > Patient Billing tab > Date of Service > Appointments tab and see the place of service without clicking into the review claim details.

    I have two interview rooms and can only schedule one appointment in each room at any given time. I tried scheduling two appointments at the same time for the same room, and I don't get a warning. Is there some way to be warned when this happens?

    Is there a way to include a different "Pay to address"? I have a PO box because my office address seems to send back a good bit of my mail. MyClientsPlus included this and I found it very helpful. Thank you!

    Please go your settings in TherapyNotes and choose practice billing. Under Alternate Billing Address please check off "Use an Alternate Billing Address".
